What to expect if you participate

  1. You’ll be assigned randomly to one of two programs. You won’t be able to choose your group but everyone will receive information and skills training. We expect you will find Living Well helpful no matter which group you’re in.
    Mindful Living focuses on mindfulness-enhanced strategies and techniques for managing stress, coping and social support.
    Healthy Lifestyles focuses on nutrition, exercise, sleep, integrative medicine and developing goals for healthy living.
  2. You’ll participate in an introductory session and ten weekly videoconferences. Between sessions, you’ll be asked to practice what you’ve learned.
  3. You’ll be asked to complete an online survey that describes your health-related quality of life. This assessment happens four times.
